The Santander London Branch CIO team (SLB CIO) is responsible for the oversight and execution of the SLB Technical strategy providing a point of escalation for all business as usual and project issues. An exciting new opportunity has arisen within our newly created Rapid Development team (RAD) for a Senior Solutions Developer to support the business focussing on the delivery of local tactical solutions, digitalisation and implementation of process automations and the implementation of Proof of Concepts for innovative solutions. What you'll be doing Designing, enhancing and maintaining Rapid Action Development Solutions using Microsoft Technology (Net, Azure, O365, Sharepoint, SQL). Acting as the front-line technology contact for, and developing tools for, the Regulatory and Compliance, Risk, Accounting and other cross services areas. Digitally transforming manual processes using Rapid Application Development techniques for quick turn around of multiple high profile projects. Sizing and scoping business requirements into clearly defined specifications and converting to a successful solution. Building, testing and deploying maintainable code and services. What we're looking for A degree in computer science is essential. Previous experience in an Investment Banking environment is desirable. Excellent working knowledge of .Net, Azure, Office 365, Power Platform, Sharepoint 2016, Nintex Forms and Workflows, C#, Excel, VBA, Java and PowerShell. Previous experience working as part of a team demonstrating a strong customer-centric ethos. Awareness and understanding of Santander's regulatory requirements.
